Why I Love My Job

Like so many others, I have lost loved ones to cancer. So I relish spending every day supporting the ACS mission to free the world from cancer.¡±

As Project Manager?for the Early Cancer Detection Science team, Julia Haskin, MA, does a little bit of everything to keep the cancer screening guidelines and systematic review processes running smoothly.

Personal life?

My husband and I live in Columbus, Ohio, with our young daughter and disgruntled-at-the-new-addition cat. Recent transplants from the Pacific Northwest, we are seeking out all the best local places to go rock climbing and all the best local breweries. And when it¡¯s too hot or too cold to go outside much, I pass the time reading, crafting, and messing around on various musical instruments. (Or, at least, I did before I had an infant daughter¡­)
